Speech Pathologist-PRN Home Health
Interim HealthCare, one of the nation's leading providers of home care, is now seeking a Speech Pathologist-PRN to join the team ! Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement the Speech-Language and/or Swallowing therapy plan of care for home health patients.
Assist as needed with patient screenings for the need for Speech-Language and/or Swallowing Therapy services.
Communicate progress and any barriers toward ST goals with interdisciplinary team members.
Complete timely ST documentation in compliance with regulatory, licensing, and payor requirements.
Assist with maintaining treatment and documentation areas in a safe manner, using good infection prevention methods.
Provide and document patient, family, and caregiver training regarding each ST patient's specific plan of care and recommendations for follow up.
Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications include:
Master's degree from an ASHA accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
Hold an active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA.
Current Texas license in good standing as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Meet physical requirements to deliver ST responsibilities.
Experience in home health setting is preferred.
Successful completion of hiring process / background check.
