- Collect and analyze data related to inventory levels, sales, and demand - Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are optimized - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement inventory control strategies - Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and resolve any issues - Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and manage inventory replenishment - Assist in production planning and demand forecasting to meet customer needs - Implement category management strategies to optimize product assortment and pricing - Utilize software tools such as QuickBooks and Power BI to generate reports and analyze inventory data - Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in inventory management - Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data - Proficiency in using QuickBooks - Knowledge of supply chain principles and practices - Experience in demand planning and production scheduling - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of inventory discrepancies - Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team.
